From Q2 2010 to Q3 2011 GOP was engaged by Otto Marine Limited for the new building project at their yard PT. Batamec in Batam, Indonesia. Hull 7063, the 'Norshore Atlantic', is a MODU under DNV class and to be registered under Norwegian flag (NMD 'Red Book'). The Owner is Norshore AS.
GOP provided consultancy services to the Yard Project Manager and the Project Management Team on issues related to most aspects of the Project covering areas such as planning & reporting, commercial issues (VORs), compliance (rules & regulations), engineering, work execution, completion and commissioning. GOP also provided services for supervising the Yard's engineering work for top-side interfaces and installation. The top-side package is primarily Owner Furnished Equipment. These solutions and equipment are supplied by NOV.
Examples of GOP activities are:

Evaluation of project personnel resources, generating the project organization chart for existing and new resources including projects specific job descriptions for key resources.

Evaluation and risk assessment of ICT solutions for project data and documents including implementing the recommendations according to available resources.

Co-creator of database tool for registration of documentation.

Co-creator of database tool for equipment registration.

Implementing formalized processes with tools used for all data relevant to interface engineering.

Daily supervision and coordination of the Top-Side Engineering Team.

Hand-over to the appointed Yard Interface Coordinator. |
